Ingredients

Five-Minute Morning Prep

Stir together hoisin sauce and barbecue sauce. Slice green onion.

Test Kitchen Tip

Because hoisin sauce is sweet, choose a barbecue sauce with less sweetness.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°. Brush bottom of a roasting pan with oil.

Place chicken in prepared pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Whisk together hoisin sauce and barbecue sauce in a small bowl. Pour over chicken.

Bake until a meat thermometer inserted in thickest portion registers 170°, 45 to 50 minutes, occasionally spooning sauce over chicken. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with green onion and sesame seeds.
